Program Notes

This piece is for cello quartet which was inspired by the swaying posture of the garden eels. Since the garden eels live in groups on the sandy seabed, only the upper body is exposed during the day. It swings up and down with the current. From a distance, it looks like the grass in the garden swaying in the wind, very interesting. At the beginning of the piece, the music looks forward to the appearance of the garden eels in a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. The pizzcato of the cello metaphors the garden eels burrowing out of the sand. One or two gradually incresed at the beginning, and finally a beautiful scene of a group of garden eels dancing was form.
