How do I setup an external control surface/mixer with SONAR 2?
First, select the MIDI port that you are using for the mixer under Options | MIDI Devices on both input and output. Then, choose Options | Control Surfaces and click the Add button. Next, choose Cakewalk Generic Surface and select the proper MIDI input and output. Finally, choose Cakewalk Generic Surface under the Tools menu and setup the parameters for the mixer.
