How do I bring CD audio into Cakewalk:

Cakewalk can not do that directly. You would need to first convert the files to wave format. Then, in Cakewalk choose File | Import Audio and select the wave file. You will need to get a program like Cakewalk's Pyro to convert the CDA to a wave file. Go to Cakewalk.com to learn more about Pyro. Otherwise, you will need to record the CD into Cakewalk. Double click on the yellow speaker icon on the bottom right corner of your screen (or choose Start | Programs | Accessories | Multimedia | Volume Control). Then choose Options | Properties | Adjust Volume For Recording, and make sure all boxes below are checked. Click OK. Make sure the Select Box is checked under CD and adjust the level. Close it and setup a track for audio in Cakewalk and hit record in Cakewalk and play on the CD player.
